#2 - Highly Stable IMU Performance

The stability of the gyro sensor, which is particularly important as an IMU's performance, is expressed by Allan Variance. It is one of the indicators of sensor performance and represents the stability during stationary output. The smaller the value of both ARW (Angle Random Walk) and Bias Instability means higher stability and higher performance.

The stability of the gyro sensor, which is particularly important for IMU performance, can be expressed in terms of Allan variance. Epson's IMUs have high stability due to the use of a double-T structure element made of quartz crystal, and the lineup includes products with stability equivalent to that of more expensive gyro sensors.
