M-G552PR80Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU)
Description
The M-G552PR80 is a advanced-performance model IMU with a rugged IP67-rated metal enclosure, delivering high stability and accuracy through advanced compensation technologies. It features RS-422 communication, which provides strong noise immunity and is well suited for point-to-point long-distance cabling. The dust- and water-resistant (IP67) enclosure provides environmental protection, mechanical robustness, and improved electromagnetic shielding for stable performance in outdoor environments, enabling reliable long-term measurement.
RS-422 provides point-to-point, deterministic communication for applications requiring long cable lengths and simple host interfaces. It also supports direct connection to 12 V industrial power systems, reducing external power conversion requirements. This enables easy implementation of inertial motion analysis and control in applications requiring long cable routing or synchronized measurement of multiple sensors, while minimizing design effort.
