F-WRITER
A programming kit for configuring Epson programmable devices
F-WRITER is a programming kit for writing configuration data to Epson programmable devices. Simply combine the F-WRITER Shield with an Arduino® UNO R4 Minima to quickly program devices with your required settings in-house, helping streamline product development.
Features

- Consists of an Epson F-WRITER Shield that mounts on a customer-supplied Arduino UNO R4 Minima.
- Provides intuitive operation through the dedicated F-WRITER App for Windows 11.
- Requires only a USB Type-C connection—no separate programmer or external power supply needed.
- Programs devices individually, making it ideal for low-volume prototyping and evaluation.
- Accommodates a variety of package sizes with optional SMD sockets.
- Supports online software and firmware updates, allowing additional products to be added in the future.
- Automatically generates the corresponding complete part number from the selected settings. This enables a seamless process from configuration verification to placing an order for volume production through an Epson partner.
- Accepts SMD sockets and blank samples from the previous-generation SG-Writer II kit.
